The Tram
House

The present tramway station was built in 1902. In 1977, the building’s existence was threatened, upon which it was purchased by the municipality of De Haan for one symbolic franc. In 1981 it became a protected monument by royal decree. In 2002, it was completely restored. The building now no longer contains a waiting room; it now serves as a tourist information point.

The tramway station is one of the most important monuments, which stood at the cradle of the rise and prosperity of De Haan as a seaside resort, and is the eyecatcher of De Haan at Sea.
